Time only moves in one direction always and does not come back. When talking about success, time is an important stepping stone towards it. If we waste our time, it also had the ability to destroy us. Time is a wonderful things that watches things born, grow, and then die and decay. It is the testimony to a plethora of memories and decisions, the good ones and the bad. No one has command over time which is why it is so important to understand its value. For example, if you put a frog in a pot of water and start boiling it, the frog starts to adjust according to the temperature of the water. As the temperature slowly rises, the frog keeps adjusting its body temperature according to it.
It cannot comprehend the right time to jump out of the pot and hence continues to adjust. Eventually, it cannot handle the temperature and dies in the boiling water. The moral of the story is that we need to recognize what decisions we should make before we run out of time. Panicking will only lead to wastage of time and resources. Change is said to be the law of nature and time brings about that change. Growing up, graduating, getting a degree, getting a job, everything depends upon time and how we make use of it. This makes it important to inculcate time management in children from a young age. Daily works like sleeping, waking up, eating meals, exercise, homework should be done on time.
This leaves no room for procrastination and ensures optimum usage of time. Once you understand that time is one of the strongest things in the world, you have already crossed a hurdle. It can make or break a person, their career, and personal relationships. We humans may never fully comprehend the greatness of time as for some it may take a couple of months to bag a win whereas for some it could take years or even decades. The entire creation moves on according to a time pattern. There is birth, growth and death. There is time for everything. Plants flower and give fruits. Seasons come according to time. A child is born, grows into boyhood, adolescence, youth, middle age and old age according to age and time. Every movement of creation is linked with time. One cannot grow paddy in a month nor can a child become an adult in a year.
Everything is fixed to a time-frame. Time is a free force. It does not wait for any one. It is commonly said that time and tide waits for no man. Time is money. A minute not usefully spent is an eternal loss. You can never get back the lost minute. One has to strike the iron when it is hot. The time flies and never returns. If you waste time it wastes you. It is said that time heals all wounds and it even heals what reason cannot. All human beings are emotional. When negative emotions like fear, anger, envy and jealousy overtake them, they lose reason and act in haste leading to serious consequences.
They may repent later, as emotions cool down. But the damage done is done and remains forever. Even that damage can heal with the passage of time. People involved may forget and forgive. That is the importance of time and its healing touch. Time is said to be a wise counselor. Passage of time allows an individual to grow. This growth gives experience. Experience helps decision making. Time reminds you to act and to act wisely. The wisest make use of the time fruitfully. It is said that the wisest grieve the most at the loss of time. Those who do not know the importance of time, waste it or rather they spend it doing nothing. There is a proverb which says that killing time is not a murder; it is a suicide. It means, by wasting time one is not harming others. Make your tasks a priority and schedule time to complete each of your tasks.
Keep an eye on your list and keep matching the list after completing tasks. Take a break in between your jobs. Meditate for some time each day. Eat healthily and take proper rest. The use of the calendar is the most fundamental step for managing your daily activities. If you use outlook or lotus notes, calendars come as part of your mailing software. You can use Google Calendar. It would be even better if you use it on your mobile phone and other hardware. You can set a note about any work with an alarm on your mobile. Put a deadline on your calendar when you want to finish your work. Now organize yourself in such a way that you complete the work on time. Let others also work that is, delegate your work. If some action is not very important and others can do it, then let others do the same job.
With this, you will be able to concentrate on more important work. No — even learn to say. Know that you cannot work more than your capacity and do not work more than that. If some work in the middle is hindering your ongoing work, then say no or allocate some other time for it. Whatever work is wasted by your time or you get away from your work is called time wasters. Spending more time on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, login frequently, checking mail is time-wasting tasks, avoid them. Make this plan before you go to sleep at night or in the morning. From this, it will be known that what you are going to do for the whole day tomorrow. Now you will keep doing your work according to your plan. The work that you do by moving around and taking more time with things, if you do the job carefully by sitting in one place, then that work will be done quickly in less time, and the chances of making mistakes are also reduced and at the same time, you will also be able to do more work.
If you can complete a work in a short time, then do not take much time to do it, it also saves your time, and you can do more work at the same time so that you also stress-free.
Time is money. It is a Treasure and yet we waste it foolishly. We waste it thoughtlessly in meaningless activities. If we take care of time, other things we will take care of themselves automatically. We all grow in time, live in the time and die in time. But great men and women of the world make the use of time in their best possible way. They know how precious is time. Every minute is valuable for them and so they take good care of it and so leave their footprints on the Sands of Time. It is really a delusion to think that we can waste time. On the contrary, time is wasting us. Time is all-powerful. It is destiny, it is history and civilization. Nothing is beyond time. People want success, happiness, fame, etc.
They make the best use of it. Time is an opportunity. If it slips ones for our hand, it can never be had again. Time is more precious than money. It is more powerful than kings and princes. They come and go but time is forever. It is neither a beginning nor an end. We recognize it as birth, growth, decay, and death. It can be spent using fully or foolishly. Every person should know the value of time and so make maximum use of it. One can follow the footsteps of a great man. We can see how did they use time, how did they spend their life. And that will show us the path. What is important is the present.
It is foolishness to postpone work for tomorrow. It is equally stupid to repent for the lost past. There is no tomorrow nor yesterday. It means the best use of time and opportunity. Life is very short. It has been said that it is like a drop in the ocean. This drop should not be wasted. It should be turned into a pearl by using it wisely and thoughtfully. A work done in time is time earned. It is no use striking the iron when it is cool, the right time is when it is red hot. Our activities should be well planned so as to save time. There is no room for idleness and indecisions.
Idlers are great Enemies of mankind. Delays and inaction are the thieves of time. How important are small moments of life is explained so well in the following lines,. Have you read these?
