Living in a city and living in a small town have both advantages and disadvantages. Living in a city involves having a fast-paced life, while living in a small town usually slows things down and gives people a stronger sense of calm. Talking about where you prefer to live in, a big city or a small town, different people have different point of views. Although it is bit difficult to say that it is better to live in a big city than to live in a small town.

While cities and small towns are extremely different, their inhabitants have to go through the same drill every day in order to be content: work, socialize and aim towards forming or maintaining a family. I have lived in a kind of small town but close enough to the city in my entire life. Living a place like that gave me an opportunity to see both sides, and it is not easy for me to say which is better. I am suitable, ambitious and like to meet new people and see new cultural things but I also like to be in my pace, relaxed, and take my time to get along with people.

I would like to avoid as much stress as I can too. According to my personality and my experience living in a small town near by the city, I think living in a small town near by the city would be the best option for me. I find there are many reasons why I choose to live in a small town. First, I can form a truly deep friendship in a small town. Friends that I can depend on in times of need. In fact my best friends are all from the same town as me. Mostly people who live in a small town know each other. They are more kind, friendly and care to others. Small towns give me the opportunity of receiving help when I need it. Like there was one time I was driving with a friend of mine and his car broke down in the middle of the road.

We were completely screwed but some people saw us from their houses and came over, helped us move the car and to get it towed. They even offered us a ride back to the city. It showed me the niceness of the people in a small town. Some people love to live in a small town for only one reason: it is simple and peaceful. People who live in a small town don not need all the modern machines for entertainment. They prefer talking to their neighbor than sitting in the living room and watching TV. It also reminds me about a small town in Florida that I have visited three month ago. They had a cook out lunch on Sunday in the neighborhood. The interesting thing was when I went to that place, I saw a lot of people sitting there and chatting with their friends.

Some parents took their kids there to play with another. You can rarely see that picture in a big city. I always admired the closeness they have with their neighbors. They always say hi to each other, they seem to know everyone in the little town. I find it very sad. You might not meet a lot of new people in a small town too often but when you do, you will know that person for a long term. Meeting people in a big city seems like for a short term relationship and I prefer taking my time to get to know the person and become friends for a long term. I always like to learn other cultures and not being able to be as cultural as being in a big city is the one minor reason of being in a small town.

Besides that, I love how people are so friendly and outgoing in small towns. The traffic is another good reason to be in a small town. Every day people in a big city go to work and get stuck in traffic jams. It is really stressful if you have to face with all the noise and dirt every single day. That situation never happens in a small town. You can walk around, enjoy songs of birds, and relax without hearing any annoying noise. Even at night it is almost always safe to walk in my country. People might drive slower than the people in big cities but I think that provides safeness. Not all small towns are too far from the city, for example my town is only 20 minutes away from the city and there are easy public transportation to get there.

So some people live in the city because of the better education or jobs but in my opinion, you could still live in a small town and be a part of the big city, it might only be possible in my country though. It is true that there are more options for schools and jobs but I went to the university in a big city from home that is in a small town, it might have been a long train ride but I loved to see the sight and enjoyed the ride. Options are limited if you live in a small town but you can make things happen. The other reason is about the nature.

The environment in the small town is great. The air in a small town is just perfect for your health, especially for old people. It is not polluted like in a big city. The air is absolutely fresh because there are not many factories there. It is away from the noise and air pollution. Easy access to the mountains or the beach so I can enjoy the fresh air, clean water, and green scenery. I love to run in the woods, just to enjoy the sight and the fresh air. It gives me the most relaxing time and make me forget about all the stress. Living in a small town could be great for kids also, it is safe to run around the neighborhood, they can enjoy the nature instead of video games and computers.

Because of the great environment, they also have all the fresh food like, vegetables, fruits even meat. In my small town there not too many restaurants or stores but they do have great food! Some dishes are only served in the town. A short vacation to a small town is a great idea. If you want to escape from all the noise, or even your work, you should come to a small town. There are lots of fun things to do in a small town. Small towns in my country are wonderful. I always want to go there because I can go camping with my friends, swim in clean rivers, or pick up fresh fruits. That are all of things that I can never do in a big city. Furthermore, a small town is so natural. It is going to be a good experience that you can have. In conclusion, I would choose to live in a small town near by the city that I can still have some cultural time.

I think people are nicer, kinder and more friendly in small town. I feel like people communicate with others well in small towns. And if you did, you can just enjoy the nature around you. The environments are way better than a big city, the air is fresher than a big city, more greens, water is clearer, and those make food more tasty. You May Also Find These Documents Helpful. Examples of lifestyle differences include population, hospitality, pollution and crime. The first thing most people think of when they hear the word city would probably be a lot of people. Another reason that hydroponics is more efficient is because it requires much less day-to-day maintenance to run effectively. Since there is no soil, no digging or weeding is necessary, saving a lot of time and energy for the gardener and the plants themselves. Fertilizer and pesticides are not necessary, due to the stable environment and conditions of the system. This makes the plants more healthy and chemical-free, so it makes them safer to eat as…. Small town living may not allow for people to spend an elaborate night on the town in a grand place but it does give citizens the chance of growing close to a community that loves and cares about each other.

Small towns are fading, along with their culture. Small town culture provides a family feel for the community, there is less crime and exposer to unwholesome content, and allows people to build relationships with people they would normally not associate with. In a town like Sioux Center, the family friendly aspects are very evident. Whether going to Walmart, picking up Pizza Ranch, or going for a walk, one is surrounded by familiar faces. Churches are usually abundant and everyone seems…. Families are neither patriarchal or matriarchal because everyone is to be considered equal in Trap City.

Families often spend lots of time together and it is very important that there is no discrimination within a family because this would be breaking one of the rules which can lead to being kicked out of the city. Families are generally loving, fun, and respectful to all other families in the city. Each family can have as many kids as they want because it is not regulated. But the family must know if they are not able to take care of the child or provide for them, the child will be given to someone who can. My life is good because of the people that are in it and the area I am surrounded in.

Every person is different and that's what makes life so cool. There are people who don't have homes or food or water but still find happiness in life and that makes this world worth living in. Simple things like holding the door open for someone and getting a thank you or my mom bringing me home my favorite candy without me asking make my life a good life. I'm able to have a roof over my head and loving parents who would do anything for our family and for that I am blessed. Many families and individuals find themselves at some point questioning the advantages of city living versus country living. It is nearly impossible to find a good answer to this question. What is good for one person might not be good for another. Some people enjoy the busy, hyper active metropolitan city where they can use all amenities and have unlimited opportunities for work and leisure. At the same time, other people feel the urge to be closer to Mother Nature, relaxation, beauty, and peace. They take pleasure in living in the calm and peaceful environment of the countryside and spending their free time fishing, hiking, picking berries in the woods, or playing in the creek.

In my opinion, the nature. The different living in a small vilge and in big city almost the same only different is. in the village consists of the unity of geography , social, economic, political and cultural contained in that place an area. in rural areas is still difficult to develop instead of lazy people in the village, but they are still firmly hold their ancestors' teachings, sometimes a new thing contrary to what their fathers taught because it is a culture in the village still strong. while in the town is still a lot less people care about others, and virtue was already no longer used to big city life squad, it is also in big cities tend to be influenced by foreign cultures so contrary to our own culture.

but according to people who live in big cities. It is. Growing up in a small town can lead to one having a very narrow-minded attitude. In a place where almost everyone is the same skin-color, has the same socioeconomic status, and follows the same way of thinking, anyone who fails to conform to the standard can be viewed as an outcast, subject to judgment from those who are looking in. I was someone who fell into this trap. I looked down upon people who were different from me, people who had vastly different ideas, dressed differently, or never tried to perform well in school. I failed to understand or welcome the distinctions between people, and never tried to get to know those who were so different from me.

Another two differences between these places of living are job opportunities and cost of living. There are more job opportunities in the city. People in the countryside have their farms. They grow different vegetables, fruits and make money on it. For instance, In Mekong delta farmers make two crops a year. Between these seasons of crop there is a distance. They do not do anything during this period. In contrast, most people move to the city in order to find a job because it is easier there. Also another difference between them is a cost of living.

In the country, most people have the sufficient economy. They can grow plants and breed animals so expenditures are lower and they can live on their own. The country life is simple and comfortable. Nevertheless, to rent a house, to buy food and to use a transport is more expensive in the city but the. People in the city generally have much different ways of living and worldviews than people in the country. Adherence to rural customs may begin to slacken, groups of acquaintances and. The playwright, Thornton Wilder is trying to convey the importance of the little, often unnoticed things in life.

Throughout the first two acts he builds a scenario, which allows the third act to show that we as humans often run through life oblivious to what is actually happening. Wilder attempts to show life as something that we take for granted. We do not realize the true value of living until we are dead and gone. The through-line of the action seems to be attention to the details of life. Wilder builds up a plot that pays attention to great details of living. The convenience of living in an urban or suburban neighborhood can be appealing to many people. Choosing between areas can sometimes be overwhelming for some individual. People are not only concerned about the safety of a community, but they are also concerned about the environment.

Although some neighborhoods might look attractive, people should consider the expense that comes with it, and how commuting will affect them in the long run. Nevertheless, both neighborhoods have their specific advantages and disadvantages. When choosing between an urban or suburban neighborhood, it is important for people to research the community, the expense, and convenience. There are many advantages and disadvantages of choosing to live in the country or to live in the city. But the advantages of living in the country definitely outweigh the advantages of living in the city.

Our Town is a rather unorthodox production. Most playwrights want to go for realism and detail, with huge scene sets or intricate scene changes. Not this one. In Our Town the author Thornton Wilder strives to create a play which does not need to rely on scenery and detail, but visualization and the investment of the audience. In this way there is nothing to distract from the core message or plot of the play. Now within this script there are several directors in which have taken the play and made it their own. From these three representations one of theme most suitably gets a grasp of what Wilder was going for; simplicity, relatability, and imagery. A challenge that many rural communities are dealing with is the lack of primary care physicians, specialist, understaffed hospitals, and transportation. Although, there are programs designed to improve patients access to hospitals and physicians in rural areas, provider access for these patients remains a barrier. Technology can bridge some of the gaps of care for these patients and it can be beneficial in many ways.

To assist physicians with delivery of optimal care and for patients to be able to go to scheduled wellness visits with physicians, a new approach to solving rural health barriers are needed. Although living in the city has many advantages there are some disadvantages too, the cost of the living is very high in the city, the city is always noisy, no fresh air and pure water. So it is hard to lead a healthy life. On other hand the village the undeveloped area for example, we cannot easily get many facilities the insufficient medical and education facilities, few opportunities to make money, little entertainment, no or little public transportation, also less facilities than a big city offers.
